Why your HVAC company needs a page for every service

AC repair, furnace install, and maintenance plans are three different searches from three different customers. One services page can't catch any of them.

Open your website and count the pages about what you do. If the answer is one, a Services page with a list, here's what that's costing you.

Three customers, three searches

The person whose AC quit on a 98-degree afternoon searches "AC repair" and your town. They want someone today.

The person whose furnace is fifteen years old searches "furnace replacement cost." They're comparing and reading.

The person who just bought a house searches "HVAC maintenance plan." They're looking for someone to trust for years.

Same company, three completely different searches. Google matches each search to the page that's most clearly about it. One page that mentions all three is clearly about none of them.

What a service page actually needs

It doesn't need to be long. It needs to be specific:

  • The service in the title and the first sentence, with your town.
  • What's usually going on when someone needs it.
  • What you do, in the order you do it.
  • Roughly what it costs, or what decides the cost.
  • How fast you can be there.
  • A phone number and a form, right on that page.

Write it the way you'd explain it on the phone. That voice ranks better than anything an agency writes for you, because it matches how customers talk.

The seasonal trick

Your homepage should change with the calendar. AC on top from May to September, furnace from October to March. Same site, different lead service. Google notices when a page is updated, and customers notice when a site looks like it knows what month it is.

Start with the money

If you build one page this week, make it the service that pays best. For most HVAC companies that's system replacement. Then AC repair, then furnace repair, then maintenance plans. Four pages, four searches you can actually win.

We build HVAC websites with a page for every service and swap the homepage every season. We'll design yours for free before you commit to anything.
